Sh. Khaled Bakr said:

I have not seen like the virtue of women …

As a Daughter … She causes her father to enter Paradise [1]

As a Wife … She completes Half the Religion of her husband [2]

and …

As a Mother … Paradise lies underneath her feet [3]

[1] Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah upon him) said: “He who raises two daughters until their puberty will be with me in Paradise like this”, and he symbolized the proximity by showing two of his fingers with a slight gap between them.” (Muslim). And he (Peace and Blessings of Allah upon him) also said: “He who is involved (in the responsibility) of (nurturing) daughters and is generous to them, will have them as a fortification for himself against the Hellfire.” (Al-Bukhaari & Muslim)

[2] Al-Haakim narrated in al-Mustadrak from Anas, in a marfoo’ report: “Whomever Allaah blesses with a righteous wife, He has helped him with half of his religion, so let him fear Allaah with regard to the other half.”

Al-Bayhaqi narrated in Shu’ab al-Eemaan from al-Raqaashi: “When a person gets married he has completed half of his religion, so let him fear Allaah with regard to the other half.” Al-Albaani said of these two hadeeths in Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb (1916): “(They are) hasan li ghayrihi.”

[3] The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) advised one companion to be kind and dutiful to his mother saying: “Be dutiful to your mother, as Paradise is at her foot.” (Narrated by Al-Nasaaei and Ibn Majah)
