Saeed ibn Jubayr, May Allah shower him with Mercy, said:

A man remains knowledgeable for as long as he continued to learn [and seek knowledge], once he abandons knowledge and believes that he has had enough and is sufficient with what he has, then he is the most ignorant one can be!
